About the Artist

Milla is a Brazilian artist and designer living between California, Brazil, and Italy. Her work is a reflection of a life lived by the sea—fluid, sunlit, and deeply connected to nature.

Raised in a family of artists, musicians, and designers, creativity has always been her native language. Years spent designing footwear for surf and lifestyle brands taught her the beauty of form and function; now, her art explores the poetry that lies beyond them.

From that calling, Honey Island Studio was born. Inspired by the raw beauty of Brazil’s Ilha do Mel—Honey Island—and the serene rhythm of coastal life, the studio is a space where art, nature, and emotion converge.

Each piece Milla creates carries the warmth of her roots, the romance of travel, and the timeless calm of the sea.
